I’m a San Francisco-based retired tech entrepreneur (NCSU, MIT, Oxford). In my business writing as well as fiction, I deconstruct behavioral patterns in an attempt to explore psychological motivations and deterrents. While my business books examine organizational implications of various social psychologies, I am drawn to fiction as a more intimate medium for delving beneath the surface of an individual.

My Elba Trilogy consists of three novels—Able Was I, Ere I Saw Elba, and I Before E.  While each story is independent, the novels’ plotlines intersect and are thematically linked by the respective protagonists’ struggle with some form of exile.
